HISTORY The band-members of HULDRA are former members of the AOR- band "HEAVEN", from the late 80's. Heaven signed their first record-contract, whit Slagerfabrikken, and they released the album "TAKE ME BACK", in 1989. The ballade "Take me back" was the breakthrough for the band. That song gave Heaven a lot of attention from the Norwegian radio stations. The song was also number one for ten week's at Norways largest radio-station (NRK). After three years of touring the bans split. Since then three of the members, Kenneth, Arnfinn, and Tomi, decided to continue writing songs. In the spring of '99 they started writing lyrics in Norwegian , and after some demo's the time was right for making their first album under the name "HULDRA". The album "Neste morgens lys", was released in August 2001. The intention was to release the album from south to the middle of Norway, but after they were radio listed with their promo-single "Naboens brød", and signed a distribution-contract on the album, they are now available in most of the music shops in Norway. "Neste morgens lys" was recorded during the winter/spring 2001, at Lydloftet, Ølen. Kenneth Pedersen (vocals), Tomi Pedersen (guitars and bass) and Arnfinn Knutsen (drums). Technitian; Kjetil Ulland. By the end of 2004, HULDRA released their second album, entitled "I syndens slør". In addition to Kenneth Pedersen (vocals), Tomi Pedersen (guitars and bass) and Arnfinn Knutsen (drums), Harald Levang played percussion, Svein Ragnar Myklebust played keyboard, and Jostein Sørtveit played accordion on "Koss kan det ha seg".
